June writes grant applications and serves as project administrator for approved grants. She joined SKED as a part time employee in 2002, following retirement from her 30 years of service in healthcare where she provided administrative services for a 10-county district health department. She has a BA in Business Administration from Stephens College in Columbia, MO and a Masters of Public Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. Working part time allows her to spend time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter and serve as treasurer for her church, teach women’s Bible studies and spend private time studying God’s word.
