The 21-year-old pioneer of Kinetic Mesh® wireless networks is a provider of secure, private wireless networking. Kinetic Mesh is easily integrated with an industrial organization’s existing equipment, such as satellites, fiber, LTE and fixed wireless networks. Rajant presently employs 35 people at its Morehead facility and has plans to add over 30 more in the coming years.

JULIE:

SKED: What are the education requirements, skill sets and training required for those jobs? Do you provide on-the-job training?
JULIE: All of our jobs require different skill sets and training. Training is a major initiative for our employees.
SKED: What type of equipment do your employees use?
JULIE: Each position involves different equipment. Some areas are an office environment; some areas are modern, clean manufacturing spaces – we are not a heavy industrial manufacturing operation. Someone may assemble a printed circuit board, final test-completed product, or micro solder. Other tasks require PC and/or hand-based skills in areas like Shipping, Engineering or IT. Each position is different.
SKED: What shifts and hours of operation do you offer?
JULIE: Our core hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
