SOMERSET, KY – SKED is partnering with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to get information on new, vital funding into the hands of some of those hit hardest by the pandemic – restaurant, bakery, bar owners and others.
They will provide a free webinar on the details of the American Rescue Plan Act’s Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 29. This program provides emergency assistance for eligible restaurants, bars, and other qualifying businesses impacted by COVID-19.
Registration for the webinar is limited to 100 participants. Registrants will learn if they qualify and how to apply for the funding via an online application set to go live on Friday, April 30.
Register at http://bit.ly/SKED2021.
The RRF will provide restaurant owners with funding equal to their pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location. Recipients are not required to repay the funding as long as funds are used for eligible uses no later than March 11, 2023.
Eligible entities who have experienced pandemic-related revenue loss include restaurants, food stands, food trucks, food carts, caterers, bars, saloons, lounges, taverns, snack and nonalcoholic beverage bars, bakeries, brewpubs, tasting rooms, taprooms, breweries, and/or microbreweries, wineries and distilleries inns, licensed facilities or premises of a beverage alcohol producer where the public may taste sample or purchase products.
